Itโs back, and itโs bigger, bolder, and beefier than ever - a 100-mile cycling odyssey through the greater Denver metro area, held together by fire sauce and increasingly questionable life choices.
This yearโs route, masterfully curated by Ben, features:
๐ณ Maximum Shade โ Because Ben loves us and doesnโt want us to cook like the beef in a Chalupa.
๐ตโโ๏ธ 9 Miles of Gravel on the Highline Canal โ Just enough to keep you humble and covered in dust.
๐ฎ 8 Taco Bells, spaced 8โ17 miles apart โ The perfect distance to pretend youโre riding for fitness and not just your next Baja Blast.
Pace: Moderate to Bean Burrito-Induced Hallucination.
Vibe: Casual, semi-competitive, definitely spicy.

We highly recommend you download the Taco Bell app and place your order ahead of arriving at the next Taco Bell location. We will cap our Taco Bell stops to 20-30 minutes to ensure we finish. We may need to drop anyone who takes longer than that.

We will have two routes for this ride:
Imperial Century - 100 miles (RideWithGPS | Strava | .GPX File)
Metric Century - 100 km / 63 miles ย (RideWithGPS | Strava | .GPX File)
Both groups will follow the same route for the first 50 miles, and will split off where the Bear Creek trail meets the Platte Trail.ย

What is the pace? Is this a drop ride?

We aim to maintain an average speed of 10-14mph. Our goal is to keep the group together (no drop).
After the first 30 miles, we will guage riders' abilities to determine if we need to split up into 2 groups: no drop and "droppish".
If you have not completed a ride longer than 60 miles in the past, or cannot maintain an average 11mph moving time, this ride might not be for you.
